For the love of paint cans...

I have a problem. I love paint cans. I do. Not paint cans full of paint. Empty paint cans. You can get these at hardware stores like Home Depot. I like to buy these and decorate them & fill them with goodies then surprise someone with a special treat. I have made many of these in my days of crafting. From Christmas to Beach Theme and from Birthdays to Babies. I LOVE them.

I recently made one for my friend's daughter who just turned 13. I thought it would be cute full of mani/pedi goodies. Needles to say she was thrilled. I am the Paint Can Queen.

I had the papers (horder!) lying around for a while & think they are SEI, stamps are Dawn McVey/PTI (my idol) Ribbons & gems are CTMH. I also used a variety of Nestie Dies and of course my famous Roses baby!   My secret to paint cans is to use Scor Pal Tape. Sticks for-ev-ah. I also made a template for the handle area. I use it over and over and over... You get it.

I am currently making a Christmas can for an upcoming "Christmas Packaging" class. If you be interested, drop me a note! I'd love to sign you up! I will also ship the class supplies for you out o staters.

Off to make more. Wave to the Queen. I said wave...
