On Veteran's Day...

We Honor You! Thank you for your sacrifices.

When I was a little girl I used to call my Dad a Hero because he served in Vietnam. The poor man was tortured physically and mentally on the field and even after he came home. I think he finally got peace the day he passed away. He would always snap at me when I would call him a Hero. He'd say "The real Heros are the ones who never came home". I disagree. I think his body came home but he certainly left something over there. No person returning from war is ever whole again. He is my Hero and will always be.

God Bless the soldiers who made it home, never came home & the soldiers leaving home.
