I bet you are thinking I forgot I had a blog- aren't you? Friends, moving across the country is hardwork! Just as things started to settle down- the family started to arrive! Less than 12 hours after the guest room was finished (6 week project) the first 2 arrived. Then grandma 2 days after. Now I have 2 of grandma's friends here as well. Caitlyn flew home yesterday- this story deserves a post of it's own. Nuff said. Whitney arrives tomorrow. Think I'm crazy yet? Ah huh! What's that saying- "what doesn't kill you will make you stronger". I am still waiting for the strength part to kick in.
On a lighter and better note, we took a 3 hour boat tour in BoothBay Harbor. Friends- this was amazing! 7 lighthouses, 6 seals, 5 Ospreys , 3 Eagles ,2 porpoises and 1 vast ocean all for $30. Could it get any better than that? YES! On our way home we saw the beauty in the photo above! MY FIRST MOOSE! OMG! I have to say not the greatest shot I've ever taken but this was from the backseat of the car doing 25 mph through the window. Not too bad. It looks a little small so we are thinking that mom was somewhere in the trees- dang couldn't see her! But I am grateful for the youngin.
Life in Maine is super and I can't wait to share more photos with you all. That camera is like a 4th child so I take it everywhere. Finally got some shots of the house too. I promise to blog more from now on! Seriously...
