My Heart belongs in Maine...

When we first began telling people that we were moving to Maine we got some negative feedback. It didn't take long to figure out why. Those who said the not so nice things had never been to Maine or never knew a person who had. Those who were positive about it and excited for us had been to Maine or new someone who had and knew their experiences were incredible.
The minute I stepped off the plane, I felt like I was finally home. I belong there. I love the look, the smell, the people, the nature, the ocean, the everything- well hey, not the seafood. I am not a water creature lover. Ick. But listen, they have meat. As a matter of fact I had some good prime rib while there. What I loved most was the scenery overall. Every place you look - a photo. I am looking forward to my ten minute drive to the ocean to take photos, watch the sunrise on the water and hopefully someday see a moose or a whale.

We were lucky enough to find a beautiful home. One that will please all of us- even has a pool and outdoor kitchen! After finding this home, making an offer and having it accepted, I feel as though I can finally let this current home of ours go. I had this hold on it. Maybe not a hold on it so much as a fear of letting it go. This dream home we built. How could we leave it? But now I know. Home is not the structure. It's the people and the life within.

I returned from Maine with a whole new outlook on the process of selling and starting over. I am excited. I feel happy.

You know me, I couldn't take a trip down the street without my camera. Here are some goodies that I shot.

Enjoy,
Tracey
