I've been, Creeped Out...Captivated...and Cullenized!

Hi all! Glad you dropped by. I've been keeping busy with numerous projects lately, mainly preparing for the Expo in Orlando, housework, and the kids. Here is a little insight....

"Creeped Out"

Ok, my daughter Whitney is beautiful and talented. This is a photo of her in the gown she made herself for Homecoming just a few weeks ago. Her lovely date is Brandon. Look how that tie matches. (everyone asked if she made that too- she didn't... nice job Brandon's mom)

Now here is what creeped me out. Here is lovely Whitney transformed into a Vampire/Biker Chic with tats. YIKES! She is nasty. She forgot the black lipstick though.

"Captivated"

Fall is so beautiful. I can't help but feel so grateful everyday when I look at this. Took these of my house and trees yesterday. The second shot is pointing the camera straight up. Try it sometime. Such a fresh perspective. In case you are wondering about the sky. It really was a magnificant blue that day but I had a little help from my polarizing filter. This filter intensifies skys and helps with reflections. I always use this when photographing near windows, water, aquariums, etc...

"Cullenized"
Oh yeah baby. I've been Cullenized. I wonder how many of you knew right away what I was talking about. I am an official member of the "I Love Edward Cullen" fan club. Borderline obsessed my friends. For those of you who do not know what I'm talking about, Edward Cullen is one of the main characters in the books, Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse written by Stephenie Meyer. Run, do not walk to the store to buy these books. My girls, especially Caitlyn is right there with me in the obsessed department. For info, check out Stephenie's site. www.stepheniemeyer.com Now, if you are already a fan PLEASE let me know. I would love to chat about it. You may also want to visit her site and look under Midnight Sun. Here you will find the first (unedited) chapter of this future book. Midnight Sun is Twilight BUT in Edward's perspective. Oh, Stephenie, hurry and finish please. www.twilightlexicon.com is FAB too. Here is tons of info pertaining to each character. And tons of questions answered by Stephenie. PS. I have not started Eclipse. I am waiting to finish my Expo kits first. I know I won't be able to concentrate until I finish, that is just the way I roll. lol
Off to cut another 10,000 pieces of cardstock- with love of course!
Take care!

All right, between you and Erin G, I'm intrigued. I just placed all three books on hold at the library. I've been looking for something new to read. Sounds fun :)

Tracey!!!

Oh my gosh... I soooo enjoyed reading the Twilight series. I read all three books in about 3.5 days on our latest road trip. I was completely immersed in the books. Poor Brent said he might as well have gone on the trip himself because I was so into the books that he had no one to talk to the whole trip. LOL! I really enjoyed #3.... get those papers cut!!! LOL! Plan on a good full day or two lounging on the couch reading.

Nic - YES... I think you will enjoy the books! :)

I can't wait for #4!!!

Oh btw - did you read Edward's take on chapeter 1 of Twilight?

Inky Smiles!
