A Special Card...

For those of you who make cards, you know it's a very special feeling when you make a card for a person who thinks that your card is the best ev-ah and proudly displays it & shows it off to everyone who comes over. What a GREAT feeling.
My Gram is one of those people who make my day! Last year on her birthday I made her an Asian inspired card with 3 little Japanese girls on it. She flipped. She told me she wanted to frame it, that is how much she loved it. I had to go do it again. Her birthday is right around the corner and since I dearly love this woman I broke out my supplies sisters! Asian supplies! Gram loves, loves Asian decor. When I first saw the Asian bundle for the Cuttlebug I lost it- bought it because I knew my Gram would love it. Here is what I made her this morning:

I know it's hard to see the embossing so you will have to take my word for it. It's fabulous! lol

The sentiment stamps, ribbon & blue cardstock are PTI. The pattern paper is Asiana-Green Tea by A2Z essentials. I've had a long, long time. (must stop hording)On the inside I stamped "Hope your day is Fabulous" another stamp set by PTI- Dawn McVey to be exact. Love her! So do you think she will want to frame this one????

Make a card today for someone you love,

Tracey

Tracey, that is lovely. My Mom is the same. She always tells me that she doesn't toss my cards (actually none of my "Card worthy" friends do) and she says she's going to frame them. It does make you feel so good. I definitely think yours will be in a frame very soon.
