Pardon me...

I appreciate your patience while I take a few days off from blogging due to the fact that Miss Whitney leaves Thursday morning for San Francisco.

My how the time flies. I must say it's much easier this semester than the first semester. If you are a parent who has experienced sending your first child to college, whether it be across the country or around the corner you know what I am feeling. Very proud and very scared wrapped up in a chocolate eating frenzy. Not to mention the coffee consumption.

No worries mate, I will be back on track after I clean that room of hers! lol

Special shout out to my dear friend Karen, her son Easton comes home today from his 2 year Mission. She hasn't seen him for 2 whole years. Can you imagine? I can't. My child is only leaving for 4 months and I'm terrified. Mucho happiness for Karen and her lovely family!

{hugs}

Such a beautiful card! How/where did you get the acrylic piece? Very, very creative and pretty.

Thanks Tammy! The acrylic piece is from a CTMH acrylic album. I sliced off the edge with the holes and added it to my card with the hinges.

darling, stankin cute, card!
I'll do my best to hold off earthquakes now that Whitney is back on the west coast! haha

My one and only has gone to the other side of the world...twice!
It doesn't matter where they are, ya just don't sleep well until they are in their "home" beds...well scratch that! She snores so I don't sleep when she's home EITHER!

HUGS

I feel your heart, Tracey! My oldest headed off to college this year and was soooooo very homesick the first semester. After some moving and making new friends, she's having a better semester and I'm learning to love her clean room while missing her at the same time.

Your card was absolutely gorgeous. TFS
