Ok, hopefully I fixed it. If not I am so sorry. It seems to work for me if I post each slide separate.

Blogtoberfest Baby...

I am so not worthy Tresa Black you stampgoddess! Count me in- see the post below if you dare!

My Paper Tree...

Here it its! The infamous paper tree that at one point was just a background for real cute snowflake card. Seems ya'll liked it more than my card. I am still crying. Not. I know this tree is HOT. After the lovely response I decided to post the instructions so you can have a tree of your own. Now how much do you love me?

Not only did I type up the instructions but I put them into a format that you can click on and print. No way, did she really? You don't have to have your puter in front of you while you make it. Take the print out anywhere and make your tree!

I bet your wondering why I did it. The honest to god truth is that I've had a hidden desire to be part of Tresa Black's Blogtoberfest! Oh and I like you and you & you too. So shortly my
blog'o'licious will be sporting that 'Blogtoberfest' blinkie! Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (say that like Dr. Evil it's funnier) Yes friends, I'm two stamp sets short of taking a wee trip to the looney farm.
With out further a'do, get to printing. Oh one more thing. Don't be a hater now- if you decide to share be nice and give a girl some credit.

Snowflake card using Creative Basics- Jingle

I love, love, love this paper kit! New from CTMH, the Creative Basics, Jingle Collection is a must have for crafters who like to make things in bulk. Want to crank out multiple cards and even multiple scrapbook layouts or tags, bags, boxes, 3-D houses, wrapping paper for smallish gifties, paint cans, oh goodness the list never ends! What you get for a low cost of $7.95 is 12- 12x12 pattern papers or B&T (6 each of the 2 designs- plus each sheet has a monochromatic option on the back!) plus 4 yards of matching ribbon. What a deal!
I especially love this kit because the striped paper reminds me of Candy Canes and the colors are yummy. I like the fact that this Holiday inspired kit uses non-traditional colors. You have to mix things up sometimes or all your projects will start to look the same. Try this sometime: Make two cards. Same card design. Use two different color schemes and pattern papers. It will just prove that you can re-create just using different papers and not have to switch up designs. I like to do this often- especially with scrapbook layouts. I don't have to stress over finding a design. Sometimes just turning the design on it's side will completely change the look. Ah, less brain work. Like my friend Anna says "maximum results, minimal effort". I think she's on to something!
I used a lot of good stuff on this card. Had to emboss the Tulip CS (CTMH) with my Cuttlebug folder- I think that one is called quilted snowflakes? I also used that HOT Martha Stewart punch- double loops. Good luck finding it. I actually found one here in Maine while the gal was stocking the shelves. The poor thing never had a chance. I was in there shopping and saw the boxes so I stalked the employee until she let me buy it. I'm crazy like that- but hey who has the punch? The snowflakes are 2 different Dimensional Elements called Flurry by CTMH. The larger one I colored with Juniper ink (CTMH) and sprayed with Glimmer Mist. The top one I left naked, no color, sprayed with Glimmer Mist and applied the CTMH Club Connections rewards- Pearls to each end. I also added a Tulip circle between the two. The sentiment was from an old CTMH stamp set then I finished it off with a quick rounding of the top corners. Yummy!
Now I have to mention that I posted this photo on the consultant web site and caused quite a stir concerning that paper tree in the background. They may have liked the tree more than my card... Anyway, look for a post concerning that tree coming up! Darn, now you have to come back to my blog! Might as well bookmark it or become one of my followers- I dare you.
Enjoy,
Tracey
